Recent events in North Cyprus

North Cyprus annual dog show was the biggest ever this year with 281 entries competing to be first in 16 classes. This fund raising event organised by Kyrenia Animal Rescue has become a fun day out with both Expats and Turkish Cypriots visiting. Surrounding the two show rings were plenty of activities including face painting and pony rides for children and bric a brac stalls. Many people who have bought property in North Cyprus and relocated find themselves with extra time on their hands and are able to take on and enjoy the company of ‘mans best friend’ the North Cyprus Kyrenia Animal Rescue dog show is the perfect place to see the many Breeds and Cross Breeds that we have here, you’ll be amazed.

The day was a great success with over £5,000 being raised for North Cyprus Kyrenia Animal Rescue. North Cyprus hosted the second Ozankoy Flower show and Carob Festival this weekend. The event took place over two days with entertainment for everyone from food courts, handicrafts to musicians and a fire eater. The event was launched by North Cyprus President Ali Talat and trophies were presented for the best flowers, vegetables, bakery and home produce.
